Quests Introduction

The Quest Menu is located in the 6th top tab of the main screen. All the incomplete quests unlocked at the moment, sortable by categories and type can be found there.

A quest is activated by clicking on it. (In-Progress) will appear on the right indicates the quest being active.
Clicking on the quest again will deactivate it.
- An active quest will track progress until it is completed or deactivated.
- A deactivated quest will save its progress until reactivation.
  - By default, only 5 quests can be active at any time.
  - Completing quests D18, B134 and B159 will reward a Headquarters Personnel , expanding the maximum number of quests active by one each. They can be redeemed in the Inventory. The current maximum are 8 active quests.
- When some quest requirements are met, an approximate percentage may be displayed:
  - from about 50% to 80%
  - at about 80% or more.

When a quest is completed, the icon on the right will turn (Completed!). Clicking it will claim the quest rewards. If there is a connection interruption while claiming rewards and/or choosing them, the quest will not be redeemed and the items will not be logged into the inventory. Specific ships are required for certain quests. A list of these ships can be found here or in the See also section.

Quest categories

There are seven different quest categories, each demanding different kinds of requirements to be completed, and being sortable using the top tabs within the quest menu.

Category	Specificities	Notes
Composition Quests	Assembling a specific fleet	Evaluated in sync with player fleets. All are one-time quests.
Sortie Quests	Meeting several requirements while doing Sorties	Evaluated after the end of each battle. A sortie is not counted if: A reset happen mid-battle, Any named ship is sunk/retreated.
Exercise (PvP) Quests	Meeting several requirements while doing Exercisess	Evaluated after the end of each battle Any reset in mid-battle will void the count
Expedition Quests	Completing Expeditions	Evaluated upon completion of each expedition. These quests only need to be active when the expeditions return.
Supply / Docking Quests	Resupplying or repairing ships	Evaluated immediately upon the start of the timer.
Factory Quests	Make, improve, and transform equipment	Evaluated immediately upon the start of the timer.
Modernization Quests	Modernizing ships	Success is defined as "any stat raised by 1 or more"

Unless specifically indicated, ship remodel status does not matter for any quest.

For factory quests :
- For quests consuming or converting equipment:
  - Equipment of the lowest improvement level will be selected first.
  - Only equipment not locked can validate the quests.
- Quests requiring to scrap equipment, count the number of equipment scrapped in total.
  - For some quests, the count of scrapped equipment is the number of times the scrap button is pressed and NOT the number of equipment scrapped.
  - Bulk-scrapping equipment only increases the counter by 1 for those quests. This applies mainly to early scrapping quests such as F12 and older ones.
- F13, F14, and F15 have special rules: If any of the following actions is taken after scrapping the appropriate equipment before returning to the quest tab, the game will not give credit for the progress:
  - Changing the Flagship flagship; or
  - Unequipping the "base equipment" off the flagship.
  - In addition, if the "base equipment" is locked, it is possible to get credit for the quest, but the game will prevent clicking on the quest to gain the reward. To resolve, it is required to remove the equipment to unlock it, and the quest progress can still be kept if the player doesn't return to the main screen after unlocking and re-equipping the equipment. Returning to the naval base screen after un-equipping, unlocking, and re-equipping will reset the quest progress.

Quest types

Each quest has a type in addition to its category, adding or not a time constraint to the quest, and being sortable using the left tabs within the quest menu.

If a monthly quest has a weekly quest prerequisite, it will be unlocked at the start of the new month so long as the weekly quest is completed for that week.
- For example, to unlock Bm3, Bw4 must be completed. If the last day of the month is a Wednesday, Bm3 will appear on Thursday if Bw4 has already been completed, even if it was done prior to the start of the new month.
- This does not work if the start of the new month is a Monday, as weekly quests also reset at the same time.
- This same logic also applies to quarterly and yearly quests.

Permanent / Limited quests

Most of the quests in the game are "Permanent Quests", quests that will never disappear.

In opposition to this, there may be "Limited-time Quests" at some points, quests that are introduced for specific Events or seasonal events.
- Those quests will disappear after a given update, announced by the developers.
- If the limited quests are cyclical, they will stop resetting and also disappear after said update.
