Seasonal/Saury 2015

The Saury Seasonal Mini Event is expected planned to be begin on October 9th, 2015 and last till October 26th 2015 (est). During the duration of the mini event, you will be able to collect Saury which you'll be able to collect from the regular maps. For information on the update please read the October 9th 2015 update

How to Obtain

Pacific Saury can be obtained from several maps during the event. They drop more frequently than the Hishimochi, but will require
appropriate equipment to do so.

Pacific Saury has been successfully discovered!

Fish can only be found in certain sortie maps locations; when your fleet reaches a specific fishing node and enters battle, the music "Saury Festival at the Naval Office" cues in.

Within the fishing zones, your fleet must battle the abyssal fleet and score an S rank (or an A rank in World 3). Upon completion, you will have a chance for saury to drop. After the battle, you might receive a notification that you have fished some saury and will then receive it prior to any ship drops.

The Pacific saury cannot be used for anything by itself; you must collect several of them in order to "cook" them to make them into resources or a new seasonal item.

In order to raise your chance of obtaining saury, you will need to use specific equipment. There is currently no official known way, though many people speculate the use of Sonars and Searchlights are needed to catch fish.

"Overfishing" at certain maps or nodes can result in reduced fish drop rates.

Fishing Zones

Saury will drop in various fishing zone locations, some will drop within fishing zones of EO of the Naval Base Waters and the Northern Waters which will grant a high chance of gaining saury while other locations outside of EO will grant a chance to gain Saury when the new BGM cues.

Cooking Saury

When you have obtained enough Saury, you can use a specific amount to cook up a saury-based meal and then trade it in for resources.

When you reach the item menu section you can choose between the following methods of cooking the Saury.

The option you are given for preparing the raw Saury in the given order are Sashimi, Grilled and Salted or Kabayaki

Once you have selected the option, you are provided with the following information regarding what you can receive from cooking the Saury.

Once selected the Saury will be used and you will get the resrouces based on what you select cooking method.

Remember that once the event is over all saury will expire and will be destroyed upon maintenance. So before the event ends, be sure to use your saury for cooking or preserve it as canned saury.

There are several limited time themed Saury themed quests you can complete while the event is active. They are as follows:

These quest will only be available for the duration of the Saury Fishing Event; once the event is over, these quests will no longer be accessible.

Isokaze Drop Locations

Along with the update, Isokaze will become available as a normal drop in the following locations:

• 2-5 : Node L (Boss Node)
• 5-3 : Node K (Boss Node)
• World 6

You can also find Isokaze in the following locations if you do not own her.

• 1-5 : Node I (Boss Node)
• 1-6 : Node B

Isokaze will only be available for a limited time during the duration of the mini event.

Once the event is over Isokaze will become unavailable outside of events.

• Saury and ship drops can be obtained at the same time.
• Saury can drop even when your ship capacity is full.
