Choose Equipment

While the above set-up guide recommend a type of equipment this section gives the general rules to choose the best equipment of a certain type.


Equipments of a same type are different by their "stat" in a wider range than the usual Stats shown in game (Firepower, Torpedo Attack, Anti-Air, ...) for the following reasons:

  • When talking about a stat of an equipment this include most of the time Fit Bonuses (both visible and invisible) and Improvement Improved stats.
  • Some modifiers and mechanics may also be included.


Equipments have a wide range of stats however not all of them have thesame level of importance. So, for the purpose of this guide the equipment "stats" have been arbitrarily dispatch into 3 categories:

  • Primary stats: This is the stats that influence the effectiveness of the equipment in its main purpose
  • Secondary stats: This is stats that influence the effectiveness of the equipment in other purpose than its main one.
  • Bonus stats: All the other stats. These stats doesn't influence the effectiveness of the equipment.


The rules for choosing the best equipment are as follow:

  1. Take the equipment with the highest primary stats
  2. If two equipments have the same primary stats take the one with the highest Secondary stats
  3. Bonus stats can be ignored when choosing an equipment.

All Other Equipment Is generaly a case by case basis, the stats are just irrelevent or simply there's like one or two equipments of this type
