When used by themselves or together with submarine radars, late model submarine torpedoes (Late Model Bow Torpedo Mount (6 tubes), Skilled Sonar Personnel + Late Model Bow Torpedo Mount (6 tubes), Late Model 53cm Bow Torpedo Mount (8 tubes), 21inch 6-tube Bow Torpedo Launcher (Late Model) and Submarine 4-tube Stern Torpedo Launcher (Late Model)) can trigger Torpedo Cut-In types that have higher damage modifiers than the usual Torpedo Cut-In.
