Autumn 9th 2015 Update
See here for seasonal CG images, voices, and saury-catching info.
- UI changes are planned to be implemented.
- An update that has ties into the theme Pacific Saury (this fish is commonly associated with the Autumn season in Japan).
- Isokaze will receive a seasonal CG update somehow pertaining to saury.
- The 20th Server (Hashirajima Anchorage) will receive a server expansion on the 7th. (Server is currently as maximum capacity and will no longer take new entries till after the expansion is completed.)
- A limited time mini event will be released where you will be collecting Pacific Saury.
- The saury will be easier to collect in comparison to the Hishimochi, however, the fish must be processed before it can become useful.
- Specific equipment is however needed to collect saury
- Isokaze will appear as a limited time normal drop
- Note regarding fishing locations
- Main locations: Northern Seas and the two EOs of seas around naval base.
- It is possible to fish at a certain node in 1-1 as well, but the chance will be low.
- You will need to S-rank for a chance at saury drope. A rank works as well for the Northern Seas.
- New BGM "Saury Festival at the Naval Base" will play on maps with nodes suitable for fishing.
- Fishing nodes are not necessarily boss nodes!
- Saury will be destroyed upon the end of the event!
- Chance of drop depends on the node; equipment that increases fishing chance is applied to the whole fleet.
- Fishing equipment will lower daytime combat capability against surface ships; balance between fishing equipment and others are key
- Seasonal mini event will last for 3 weeks
- Is actually possible to overfish if you spend too much time fishing resulting in a lowered chance of catching fish
- Upon having a successful catching season you will be rewarded with the "Good Catch Flag" presented by Ikazuchi.
