From quests, you can get 4 good torpedo bombers, 3 dive bombers with anti-air resistance, 2 dive bombers with long range, several fighters, and two main guns ([[41cm Triple Gun Mount Kai Ni]] and [[41cm Twin Gun Mount Kai Ni]]). These weapons enable you to clear the most maps in Medium, even some maps in Hard. After you obtained the most of the equipment given by quests, and have one or two fleets of Kai Ni ships, it should be easy to clear all non-event maps, except 5-5, 6-4 and 6-5 which require some improvements and carefully planned strategies.

*Dive bombers give a bonus against [[Isolated Island Princess]]. Ise Kai Ni with two dive bombers can kill the boss in night battle with two hits.
*Destroyers with [[Special Type 2 Amphibious Tank]] and [[Daihatsu-class Landing Craft (Type 89 Medium Tanks & Marines)]] and [[WG42]] can dispatch [[Supply Depot Princess]] in one hit.
*Destroyers with only one rocket ([[WG42]] and its Japanese equivalents) can reach the firecap 220 against [[Artillery Imp]].
