**AV, CLTs, and CLs carrying {{EquipmentLink|Type A Kouhyouteki|Type C Kouhyouteki|Type D Kouhyouteki Kai (Kouryuu Kai)|text=Midget Submarine}} can be useful for taking out many of the ships in node {{MapRoute|G|red}} during the Otorp attack, to minimize damage taken.

**Slow AV/AO needs {{EquipmentLink|Improved Kanhon Type Turbine|Enhanced Kanhon Type Boiler|New Model High Temperature High Pressure Boiler|text=Speed modifiers}} to help with [[Improving Ship Speed]] so that the entire fleet is fast and avoid Node {{MapRoute|E|violet}} to prevent additional ammo lost.
