Based on the dev notes, the saury from the [[Seasonal/Saury 2015|Saury Fishing Seasonal Event]] will expire at the end of the event (Oct. 30, 2015). One option, requiring seven Saury, is to cook the Kabayaki recepie and obtain Canned Saury, which you can cook later (I.E. after the event is over).

Canned Saury can be equipped and has effects identical to those of [[Battle Rations]]: when consumed, the one who 'eats' it gets a sizable [[morale]] boost while kanmusus 'beside' her (above and below her in the battle composition) get a small morale boost.
