Christmas 2013 Event commences
- Takes place from December 24th, 2013 to January 8, 2014.
- New quests added to obtain the event only ships Iona, Takao and Haruna (from Arpeggio), and unlock event maps.
4 new ships added: I-401 (new, permanent sub, different from Iona of Christmas 2013 event), Akitsu Maru, Maruyu, Taihou
Large ship construction feature implemented
- Yamato, Taihou, Agano-class CL, Mikuma, Akitsu Maru, and Maruyu craftable using this feature.
- Maruyu is the equivalent of the "failure" or penguins of the LSC. This ship is not suited for combat, so both leveling and remodelling will be difficult, but she can be used in modernization to add +1 Luck (though there are reports of failures).
- Several normal craftable ships are also craftable in this feature, including Tone-class amd Mogami-class (CAs), CVs, CVLs and BBs.
- Two new quests added to unlock this feature.
Nagato, Kiso, and Naka get special Christmas voice lines. In addition, Naka gets special Christmas sprite.
Maximum dock space increased +10 (from 170 to 180).
New glossary page added for ship no. 151-200.
New equipment:
- Large Utility Boat. Will not affect combat, but increases resources you gained from expeditions by 5%.
- ASW plane, with a blue color and without a small icon like seaplanes.
- Helicopter for CVLs, with ASW stat too (green and without icon, like seaplanes).
New Christmas furniture added, delivered automaticaly after login between 24 - 25 December 2013.
