The new anime "KanColle: Itsuka Ano Umi de" (艦これ いつかあの海で, KanColle: Someday in that Sea) is a new adaptation of Kantai Collection that started airing on the 3rd of November 2022.
It is not considered a "second season" of the previous anime & film, but an alternative story, based on the Battle of Leyte Gulf.
