In addition to the usual playable ships and enemies, the game also features several NPC, notably:

Mamiya and Irako, two supply ships being NPC only.
Akashi and Ooyodo, two ships being also playable now, but were NPC only on release.
Many fairies, being similar to equipment fairies.
