These maps are only available for the duration of the event, and usually have better drop rates than normal sortie maps.

While sortieing in event maps you'll encounter special [[Enemy_vessel#Bosses|abyss fleet bosses]] which can only be seen there, those are strong opponents, though mainly depending on the map, can include recurring bosses such as the [[Battleship_Princess|Battleship Princess]], her hits can make players buckets reserve cry.
