In addition, the current situation only has shown a '''Single fleet vs. a Combined Fleet'''. But using these mechanics we can come to understand the basic rules behind how a battle works with this set up.

As of current, LBAS phase and the Air Strike phase remain the same as they are in regular fleet situations. However upon reaching the shelling phase the mechanics change drastically on how the order goes since your fleet will have to battle a main fleet and an escort fleet.
