An improved version of the small caliber standard main gun mounted on older destroyer models. Despite its manual loading and traverse mechanisms, it's been used for a long time as the main armament of destroyers, mostly thanks to its simple structure and low production cost. This new version greatly improves the actual combat performance, it cannot, however, be used for anti-aircraft purposes.
An improved version of the small calibre main gun that was mounted as the standard main armament of older model destroyers.<br>
Although it's loading and traverse mechanisms are still manual, it's simple design and low cost has allowed it to remain the main gun of destroyers and coastal defence ships for a long time. This upgraded version incorporates lessons learned during the war to significantly increase it's usability in combat.<br>
Unfortunately, it is unsuitable for anti-air combat.
