**The first node of the transport phase (Node C) is an air battle node that gives the flagship between 350 to 450 exp per run with every S-Rank. Since submarines automatically complete air battle nodes without taking any damage, this is an easy way for them to gain experience. Send a single SS(V) to that node and then retreat immediately after the battle animations and results screen. The morale loss should be negligible as the flagship will always attain MVP status, and the amount of fuel / ammo used is also very low.
