* There is an as-of-yet unknown LoS requirement for reaching the boss node, consider equipping more than you think is necessary to avoid unpleasant surprises.
* If you do not have Yuubari, do NOT bother with ASW. The sub in Node A does not obey game mechanics, and has roughly equal chances to HIT or MISS, even on [Line Abreast] formation. Just destroy the rest of the ships/pray for RNG and continue on.
*[Echelon] formation works well for H node (but does not guarantee 100% escape)
*[Double Line] formation works well for I node. [Diamond] is not recommended because the enemy light carriers HAS A CHANCE to hit hard regardless of formation, and your damage will drop.
Do not bother with Type 3 shells, 10cm guns and other anti-air equipment unless you fulfill LoS requirements, as they do not appear to reduce chances of being hit by enemy carriers.
*All the enemies, including the enemy DDs, have the ability to deal heavy damage to your ships.
