Developed as the successor to Type 99 Carrier Bomber and boasting a high performance, water-cooled engine, the Suisei. This Suisei Model 12 is additionally armed with newly developed experimental Type 31 Photoelectric Fuze Bombs. These bombs are equipped with one of many Japanese proximity fuzes, which detects reflected light to explode. They were reportedly used by the Fuyou Squadron which tenasciously fought on the frontlines until the very end.
