Shigure is another ship that players are likely to obtain early on. While she may not shine in any way special in battle during her first remodel (other than having (slightly better than normal combat performance) she will however become very resourceful once she reaches her Kai Ni level.
Like [[Yukikaze]], Shigure ends up getting a very high luck boost allowing her to easily be able to perform torpedo cut-ins which makes her one of several go-to ships for event purposes for take out Abyssal Princess Type Ships. So just like [[Yukikaze]], she is ideal for night combat situations for both beginners and advanced players.
