Torpedo Cruisers are light cruisers remodelled to arm long range stealth torpedoes. In this game, they are the only few cruisers that are able to equip midget submarine, [[Type A Ko-hyoteki]]. Midget submarine allow a ship to do preemptive torpedo strike after the aerial combat phase.
