The arcade system was originally announced in early 2015 via the Kancolle Staff Twitter in which they announced they would unveiling the arcade cabinet during the [http://www.jaepo.jp/top.html Japanese Amusement Expo] in February of 2015. Between the time of it's debut through various Kadokawa Naval Review meetings that were held by Kadokawa. The Arcade was show case and selected group of people were picked to test play the game. They originally announced its release for the Fall of 2015. However, plans to add additional content pushed the release date to the Spring of 2016.
