Indeed the bust size is one of the stats increased by a Kai Ni. This have been explicitely shown during the [[Anime/Kancolle Anime (2015)|2015 anime]] with [[Yuudachi Kai Ni]] during [[Anime/Kancolle_Anime_(2015)/Episodes#Episode_9|episode 9]]. Note that it is also shown that Fubuki didn't get a bust upgrade during her own Kai Ni. Also during the more recent [[Anime/KanColle 1944 - Itsuka Ano Umi de|KanColle 1944 anime]] despite not being acknowledged by the characters, [[Shigure Kai San]] clearly got an upgrade in the bust department.

We are close to a 50/50 with a slight advantage fro the abyssal. The logical conclusion is that the Abyssification phenomenon most of the time doesn't affect the bust size with some exceptions going either bigger or smaller.
