艦隊型日本駆逐艦に搭載された主砲のif改修型です。<br>本来D型砲への繋ぎ的存在だったC型砲に、数々の戦訓を取り入れた実戦的な改修を実施、<br>対空戦には不向きですが、白露型・朝潮型・陽炎型、<br>特に陽炎型駆逐艦の改装艦に最適化され、<br>白露型の最後の一隻となった艦の改装艦の装備としても有効な、<br>水上電探との運用も考慮された日本駆逐艦用改修if兵装です。
