Tanaka has never given any tutorial on the topic of Loadout. All initial loadouts, ship girls and abyssals alike, are misinforming players on how to do proper loadouts.

To keep players from an overpowered start, all initial ship girl loadouts are fragmented. For certain Abyssals, their raw stats are so insane they can reach FP cap regardless of crap loadouts. Abyssals can do Triple Gun Cut-ins and Gun-Torp Cut-ins and dish out maximum damage.
