''The "Reppuu" was a state-of-the-art carrier-borne fighter developed as the successor to the high-performance "Zero". This two-seater "Reppuu Kai Ni" is an improved version of the Reppuu that uses the high-altitude interceptor "Reppuu Kai" as a base. The oblique-mounted guns have been removed and its effectiveness in dogfighting and anti-bomber roles have been increased.  This is a what-if, night fighter "Reppuu Kai Ni" that is enhanced with a plane-based radar. This will give the Japanese Carrier Task Forces a broader array of strategies.''
