比較的小型の護衛空母でも運用できる最新鋭艦上戦闘機として開発され、護衛空母での運用実験も開始されましたが、<br>
戦争の終結及びジェット戦闘機の加速的な発展により短期間で量産計画は中止、全機が退役していきます。

This carrier-based fighter bridged two eras.<br>
It's a state-of-the-art fighter developed with the capability to operate from smaller escort carriers.<br>
Testing on board escort carriers had begun but, due to the war's end and the progress in the development of jet fighters, its production was cut short and existing airframes were retired.
