The "Type 97 Torpedo Bomber" underpinned the attack squadrons of the early carrier task forces.<br>
This unit is a anti-submarine patrol variant of the obsolute Type 97 torpedo bomber operated by skilled pilots of the 931 Air Group who run anti-submarine patrols off carriers.<br>
They are the wings of the maritime escort squadrons that protect fleets and convoys from underwater threats.
