優れた空中指揮官である菅野隊長の率いる同隊は、苦しい戦局の中、日本の空を守るために戦いました。
The "Shiden Kai" were the ace-in-the-holes of the mainland's air defences. The majority were deployed to the 343rd Air Group.<br>
The powerful Shiden Kai squadron, the 301st Fighter Squadron, was a squadron from that air group that was deployed to Matsuyama in Shikoku.<br>
Led by the legendary squadron commander Kanno, they fought desperately to defend Japan's skies.
