1. Christmas 2013 Event commences
   • New sortie quest added to obtain Iona and unlock event maps
2. 4 new ships added: I-401 (as Iona during Christmas 2013 event), Akitsu Maru, Maru-yu, Taihou
3. Large ship construction feature implemented
   • Yamato, Taihou, Agano-class CL, Mikuma, Akitsu Maru, and Maru-yu craftable using this feature.
   • Several normal craftable ships are also craftable in this feature
   • New quest added to unlock this feature
4. Nagato, Kiso, and Naka get special Christmas voice lines. In addition, Naka gets special Christmas sprite
5. Maximum dock space increased +10 (from 170 to 180)
6. New glossary page added for ship no. 151-200
7. New Christmas furniture added, delivered after login between 24 - 25 December 2013

Additional updates from online maintenance (1430 - 1730 JST)

1. Enemy submarine added in map 1-4
2. Bug fix in glossary display

Upcoming Updates (Based on the Official Kancolle Twitter)

1. Christmas event (24 Dec - 8 Jan) will be implemented.
2. Large Ship Construction will be implemented. Material input is 1000~7000 per construction. You can choose 1, 20, or 100 development materials. This will only be available to the admirals who has unlocked the third fleet, and will be a permanent feature (not event-only). Having your other construction docks empty will have a slight positive effect thanks to the many construction fairies.
3. Ships that will be available in the Large Construction are (but not limited to):
   • Yamato
   • Taihou
   • Akitsumaru
   • Zuihou
   • Agano-class CLs (Agano, Noshiro, Yahagi)
   • Shoukaku-class CVs (Shoukaku, Zuikaku)
   • Tone-class CAs (Tone, Chikuma)
   • Mogami-class CA(V)s (Mogami, Mikuma, Suzuya, Kumano)
   • Type 3 Submergence Transport Vehicle (Maruyu), which will be equivalent of the "failure" or penguins of the LSC. This ship is not suited for combat, so both leveling and remodelling will be difficult, but she has a special function.
4. There will be different pool of ships for different recipes. A different amount will be needed if you want different type of ships.
5. A few new equipments will be included:
   • Large Utility Boat. Will not affect combat, but increases resources you gained from expeditions.
   • A new ASW plane
   • Helicopter for CVLs
