Modernization is used to increase the [[Stats]] of a given ship, namely, the firepower {{Firepower}}, torpedo {{Torpedo}}, anti-air {{AA}}, armour {{Armor}}, HP {{HP}}, ASW {{ASW}}, and Luck {{Luck}}. 1 to 5 other ship girls are required in order to perform a Modernization.
