Besides having slightly better stats compared to the other 4 destroyers you start with, Fubuki's is mainly avrage in combat until she has been taken the effort to be trained all the way up to Kai Ni Level.

Once she has reached Kai Ni, she becomes a decent all around destroyer with slightly high Anti-Air stats. An admiral who is just starting may consider using Fubuki to conduct Anti-Air Cut Ins if you want t designate her as an Air defense destroyers. Course in time, you are more than likely to replace Fubuki with destroyers that have more suited rolls as Air Defense Destroyers ([[Akizuki]],[[Teruzuki]], and [[Hatsuzuki]]) But until then she along with [[Hatsushimo]] and [[Kasumi]] and work as good substitutes.

Said weapon can free up your destroyers to perform better in battle but still perform Anti-Air Cut-ins (rather than using up a single slot for a Director).

During event, Fubuki can be best served as a decent combat ship or a ship to back up Anti-Air Cut Ins if you lack in many members of the Akizuki-Class or [[Maya|Maya Kai Ni]].
