- {{PAGENAME}} is a plane-using installation-type enemy. This changes certain behaviors:
- Player's torpedo salvo will never target {{PAGENAME}}, with the exception of torpedo bombers.
- All attacks against {{PAGENAME}} treat the torpedo value as 0 in damage calculation (except aerial combat).
- Any cut-in involving torpedo doesn't work against {{PAGENAME}}. If the ship does not have any guns equipped, no equipment name will be shown when performing the attack.
- {{PAGENAME}} uses the carrier formula for shelling damage. (Daytime: [Firepower + Torpedo + (Dive Bomb × 1.3)] × 1.5 + 55; Nighttime: Firepower + Torpedo)
- Carriers equipped with dive bombers will not choose {{PAGENAME}} as shelling target unless all the dive bombers were shot down. Carriers with only torpedo bombers equipped can attack {{PAGENAME}} as normal (but the torpedo value is treated as 0 for the damage calculation during shelling).
- Damage text is different from others:
- Slightly damaged(小破) → Confused(混乱)
- Moderately damaged(中破) → Damaged(損害)
- Heavily damaged(大破) → Broken(損壊)
- Sunken(撃沈) → Destroyed(破壊)
- Cannot attack during daytime shelling at Damaged or worse.
- Cannot attack during daytime shelling if all carried planes are shot down.
- Attacks at night if not Broken or Destroyed.
- Enables 2nd round of daytime shelling.
- Prioritizes attacking submarines during daytime shelling. (Attacks surface ships at night)
- Takes increased damage from ships equipped with Type 3 Shells and WG42 (Wurfgerät 42).
- During daytime shelling, battleships with large caliber guns and AP shells equipped have increased accuracy and damage.
- Not subject to covering from escort ships.
Usage
Format: {{Installation|1= (optional)|2= (optional)}}:
- Variable 1= replaces the first instance of the page name to something else you indicate. For example, {{Installation|1=Test}} would begin with the text Test is a plane-using installation-type enemy ... regardless of where you put the template.
- Variable 2= should either be her or its (it's meant to be a possessive pronoun). It is also used to put either the pronoun "She" or the pagename in other sentences. Note that the text is case-sensitive.
Use on any Installation-type Abyssal ships that utilize planes.
For those who don't, use {{PlanelessInstallation}} instead. For those that can be either depending on equipment setup, use {{HybridInstallation}}.
Note that a switch template exist as different equipment are effective against different enemies (add in switch statements in cases where it's not the usual Type 3+WG42).
The inclusion of this template automatically adds Category:Abyssal Land Bases to the page.
