With her Kai 2 form, Tatsuta doesn't offer too much on the table in terms of surface combat but her usefulness in ASW combat and now having the ability to use [[Daihatsu]] makes her more useful now for both expeditions and transport operations.

Though not the strongest for installation combat, Tatsuta can also use Daihatsus with Type 98 Medium tanks + Marines and [[Type 2 Ka-Mi Tank]]s which can allow her to combat installations, but her damaged would be limited and only good against more weaker installation bosses.
