On E5 a new mechanic is introduced to what has been referred to as a "Heavy Land Base Bomber Air Raid" sequence. Unlike previous mechanics in the game, this mechanic will require '''monitoring and timing of releasing your Land Base Air Squadrons to successfully intercept the enemy air raid by pressing a button at the right time.'''
This means that the fleet and the map must monitored at all time until the land base sequence occurs.
The heavy air raid will occur at random at any given point during E5 and may even in some instance not happen at all.
For now the following information will be provided to help organize a better land base defense unit to successfully intercept against the air raid:
* When the land base sequence occurs, you will need to wait for the button to appear on screen and then press it at the right time to trigger the best results from your LBAS.
** Pressing the button before 2.5 seconds or after 3 seconds after it appears will result less land base planes appearing provide defense.
** Pressinfg between 2.5 - 3 seconds will result in the best result from your LBAS defense.
** Heavy Land Base Air Raids will consist of up to 2-3 Waves once the sequence starts
** Your land base will need to be armed with planes that can provide high altitude interceptions or fighting planes armed with diagonal upward guns which includes the following planes:
