So uhh, where should I start?

I'm a LV80 teitoku from Finland stationed at Iwagawa. I became a teitoku amidst the chaotic AL/MI Summer Event :9. Currently studying in university to become a language teacher (English and Finnish).

I'm a free-lance mangakaComic artist, airsofter, martial artist and a devout gamer.

Currently building a new, more balanced Fleet after experiencing ship restrictions by some maps and the Combined Fleet Mechanics for the first time. Goal is to get them to atleast level 65 or their Kai Nis.

LONG TEXT IS LONG, READ IF YOU WANT

Alright, how about from the beginning, I often spent my time around various sites with Anime and Manga material and couldn't help but notice the influx of KanColle material. However, it was not enough to convince me to join in, not just yet, mostly because I realized how tedious it seemed to set up a proxy, account and hope for the best in the lottery.

Gradually I got more and more into KanColle, and a particular shipgirl caught my attention from Yume no Owari's works, the Ninmu Musume, as she was known at that time. Then, on one lazy summer day I decided to randomly come to KanColle Wiki to wander around articles, I saw a mention of AL/MI Summer Event, and particularly E-2. Guess the rest.

I joined KanColle with 8 days left on the event and managed to only take Hoppou-chan down to half health before the event ended, needless to say, I was disappointed, but I kept playing, hoping for a second chance perhaps next event. Till that end I prepared my fleet, which was conveniently destined to fail because I was a fr00b and only focused on training the Kongous and Shigure and Yuudachi, hoping they'd be my ticket for the next event, how wrong I was. _(:3」∠)_

I got trolled real hard during E-1 because it was my first time encountering the combined fleet mechanics.I was down to 3/4 of my stockpiled buckets of three months. I didn't give up and I got to E-2 after two days, I was hell-bent on one goal; my glorious prize. Initially I had a hard time beating the boss because of wrong equipment setup and my Akatsuki sisters were not strong enough, I had to dish in Yuudachi and Poi-girl (which I was saving for E-3 if I managed to procure my prize) after things were not going well enough and my buckets were at 1/4 after the first week.

My buckets ran out when the second week began, I had to be rational and instead farm the night battle node until I can muster buckets to tackle the boss. Luckily before I ran out of everything I managed to procure Akizuki and Amatsukaze. c:

But then, on 28th of November, just when I was about to go sleep: "提督、軽巡大淀、戦列に加わりました。"

I couldn't believe my eyes, I hastily pressed took a screenshot and rubbed my eyes in delirium, got up, went to the bathroom, came back. At this point I guess it was safe to say that it's real, I am a happy teitoku now.

TL;DR: Joined KanColle because heard of Ooyodo, did not get Ooyodo because Lottery and E-1 trolling. For three months bitterly prepared for the next chance. Trolled by RNG-sama until the final 3 days of event. Happy teitoku now.
