The Kancolle RPG is a d6-grid based system, where players take on the role of shipgirls at a naval base, both during combat and going throughout their daily lives. The role of the [[:wikipedia:Gamemaster|GM/Storyteller]] is taken by one of the players on a rotating basis. It is structured around doing randomly-generated slice-of-life moments to prepare for sorties against the abyssals. It can be played in a party with up to six players, or (with the expansion) solo with only one Admiral sortieing a fleet against a predetermined abyssal fleet.
