About Ichiban Kuji
Ichiban Kuji (Best Lottery) is a lottery that is held by Banpresto in Japan. The Lottery is held on a regular basis for several various anime / manga / and major products that are recognized in Japan. Most of the item that are given away during the Ichiban Kuji Lottery are usually exclusive, high in quality and hard to come by. Most Ichiban Kuji Lotteries are usually held within Japanese convenience stores, or well known store chains. People who plan to participate in these lotteries will have attend the location in which the Ichiban Kuji is held.
Most Ichiban Kuji lottery tickets are sold for approximately around ¥500. Though there are several premium variations that sell tickets for ¥800 to ¥1000. Each of the stores will have a pool of lots (usually 100 items per lot) available of the prizes that are given away. The quantity of products of each lots are always fixed.
When you purchase a ticket, you will receive an enclosed ticket which you will open and see which prize you won. The prizes are marked by a letter in (Alphabetic order), and which letter you got will be the prize you won based on the letter you get.
There are also prizes for being the last ticket purchaser of the lot. The following items are Kancolle themed prizes that were given away as part of the Ichiban Kuji Lottery.
