Foreword
Tanaka has never given any tutorial on the topic of Loadout. All initial loadouts, ship girls and Abyssals alike, are misinforming players on how to do proper loadouts.
To keep players from an overpowered start, all initial ship girl loadouts are fragmented. For certain Abyssals, their raw stats are so insane they can reach FP cap regardless of crap loadouts. Abyssals can do Triple Gun Cut-ins and Gun-Torp Cut-ins and dish out maximum damage.
However ship girls cannot achieve this. We cannot blindly copy what the Abyssals do. This is however observed in many new faces and even some intermediate players. They lack the knowledge to get themselves out of the pit of wrong loadouts. This following paper is a detailed guide on proper loadout.
Note that Friendly Fleets sometimes contain silly loadouts. Don't try this at home.

With this in mind, we cannot list every possible loadout. We state instead what roles can a ship class fulfill and what her loadout should be based on this role.
