Other than having slightly better stats compared to the other 4 destroyers you start with, Fubuki is mostly average in combat until she has been levelled all the way up to Kai Ni Level.

Once she has reached Kai Ni, she becomes a decent all-round destroyer with slightly better-than-average Anti-Air stats. An admiral who is just starting out may consider using Fubuki to conduct Anti-Air Cut Ins if they wish to utilise her as an Air Defense Destroyer. Over time, you are more than likely to replace Fubuki with destroyers that are more suited to acting as Air Defense Destroyers ([[Akizuki]],[[Teruzuki]], and [[Hatsuzuki]]) But until then, Fubuki, along with [[Hatsushimo]] and [[Kasumi]], act as good substitutes.
