Branching rules

The following ship types are not allowed on this map: (F)BB, CV, CLT, SS(V). You may only use BBV, CA(V), CVL, AV, CL, CT, DD, DE, LHA, AS, and AR.

  • Using BBV, CA, or CVL will take you to node C which leads to a harder route, with enemies such as Flagship Wo-class and Flagship Ru-class. Submarine fleets with line ahead formation also appear at node I (3 out of 6 patterns).
    • Generally, the route through C is only taken if a player wishes to brute-force the map or complete specific quests.
  • Route A E G F B N is easier with only 3 battles.
    • You can bring either "2AV" or "1LHA, 1CAV" to have a chance at avoiding defeat at Node F, but this can go from G to K, which is harder.

Tips

You have to reach node N 7 times to clear the map. There is no Boss node in this map. Instead, you will receive a random amount of resources of either Fuel, Ammo, Steel, or Bauxite at the node with the Anchor symbol.

  • You are rewarded with a high amount of resources upon reaching node N.
    • The value will decrease after the resource bar is depleted.
  • Like 1-5, the map will reset at midnight JST at the beginning of every month.
    • The map will be locked at the beginning of each month until you have completed 1-5 for the month.
  • Clearing this map rewards you with 1 Present Box, and 75 ranking points.
  • "Double-arrow" nodes D F L, are Air Battle nodes, like those first appearing in the Summer 2014 Event.
    • Daytime combat at these nodes has two Aerial Combat phases but no shelling. It's also possible to do night battle afterward, unlike regular Air nodes.
    • If your fleet has no ships that can attack during Aerial Combat, you will automatically get a D rank (see 1st D rank condition), unless you enter night combat.
  • Node N not being considered a boss node, it will not count towards certain quests (namely Bw1) that require you to reach a boss node.
  • Because N is the End Node, you may advance with a heavily damaged ship (taiha) from node B or D without risk of sinking any of your ships.
    • An exception would be when the flagship is heavily damaged. However, if it is equipped with a Damage control 
       
      , you may choose to use it and continue (the item is not consumed here).
  • Having a ship with AACI is highly recommended to reduce damage taken on Air Battle nodes.
  • Node E is a submarine node with Echelon formation. Because this node is so minor in nature, bringing ASW equipment is not required.
  • Ooyodo can drop with a small chance, but only for Admirals who don't have her.

Recommended Fleet

  • 1CL, 5DD
  • Route = A E G F B N
    • The only composition that guarantees this routing.
    • However this fleet will not be able to fight back at node F, so expect having D ranks if you don't follow in night battle.
    • You can also use 6DD / 2CL, 4DD / 1LHA, 1CAV, 4DD / 2AV, 4DD / 2AO, 4DD as you maybe able to get B rank at Node F with these fleets, but these can off-route G to K.

  • 2BBV, 1CL, 3DD
  • Route = C H K M J D N
    • Should only be used for some quests such as Bq3.
    • Goes through a longer and more dangerous route compared to the light fleet.
    • There is an LoS check at node M. You need to have LoS > 30 (Cn3) in order to go from M to J.
