Introduction

陳腐化した53cm魚雷の後継として開発された大型の61cm魚雷。
その三連装発射管は、駆逐艦の主力兵装として特型駆逐艦「吹雪」型などに搭載されました。
その改良型である本兵装は、装填魚雷を「九三式酸素魚雷」に換装、戦訓を取り入れ、改良と調整を重ねた後期型酸素魚雷装備です。

A large 61 cm torpedo that was developed as the successor of the obsolete 53 cm torpedo.
The triple torpedo launcher was mounted onto various ships such as the special-type destroyers of the "Fubuki-class" as their main armament.
This armament is an improved model where the original torpedoes were replaced with "Type 93 Oxygen Torpedoes" and lessons learned from actual combat were incorporated, resulting in a thoroughly improved and fine-tuned late-model oxygen torpedo equipment.

Mechanics

Torpedoes are almost exlusively used to trigger Night Cut-Ins, especially the Torpedo Cut-In (TCI). Their main stat is the "torpedo" stat.

• This stat is also used to calculate damages during the Opening Torpedo Salvo and Closing Torpedo Salvo.
