大戦初期の太平洋上で零戦としのぎを削った米海軍艦上戦闘機F4Fシリーズの後継機、F6Fシリーズの初期量産型です。
大出力エンジンを装備した強力な主力艦上戦闘機として、零戦を徐々に圧倒していきました。

The initial mass production model of the F6F series. It is the successor to the F4F series of US Navy carrier-based fighters that cut short the rampage of the Zero fighters after the early days of the Pacific War.
As a powerful carrier-based fighter equipped with a high-powered engine, it gradually overwhelmed the Zero in battle.
