Introduction
零式艦上戦闘機の後期強化型64型。
同機をさらにif改装し、小型軽量化したKMX及び対潜攻撃兵装を装備。
コックピットも複座化して索敵及びナビゲート要員も搭載する対潜戦闘爆撃機です。
南方航路を死守すべく、基地航空隊及び護衛空母で戦う931航空隊に配備され、彼我の切迫する制空権の中、東海などと共に哨戒に出撃敵潜制圧と海上護衛のために戦います。
A late-model upgrade of the Type 0 Model 64 shipborne fighter.
This unit is a what-if upgrade is equipped with a lightweight KMX and anti-submarine equipment.
The two-seat cockpit on this anti-submarine fighter/bomber has space for a reconnaissance/navigation officer.
It was deployed with the 931 Squadron who operated from land bases and escort carriers to defend the Southern corridor. Along with desperately trying to secure air superiority, it patrolled the seas alongside the Toukai to suppress enemy submarines and escort convoys.
Mechanics
Dive Bombers are one of the main types of plane used by CV(B/L). Their main role is to do damage during the Airstrike, with their "Dive Bombing" 
stat being the most important factor in this regard. Dive Bombers are additionally needed for dealing damage during day Shelling, especially for Aircraft Carrier Cut-Ins (CVCI).
- They are vulnerable to shoot down during most Aerial Combat phases.
- They bring some accuracy bonus against PT Imp.
- They cannot attack Installations unless they are Anti-Installation Dive Bombers.
"Fighter-Bombers" are "Dive Bombers", both behaving the exact same way, with the only notable difference being the Improvement effects given by 
.
Is an ASW Aircraft.
