Analysis
Priority: High
- A specialized anti-air Akizuki-class destroyer, boasting mediocre Firepower and Torpedo stat, but the best AA stat of all destroyer classes by far.
- Coupled with a powerful unique Anti-Air Cut-In, this makes her a natural fit for taking care of enemy bombers.
- Additionally, her ASW stat is decent and allows her to perform OASW at high-but-before-marriage levels with proper gear.
- No further remodels have been implemented for her yet (as of January 2020).
Recommended Roles
- Anti-air
- ASW
Important Information
She comes with 10cm Twin High-angle Mount + Anti-Aircraft Fire Director guns (one in her base form, and another once remodeled).

- ↑ Tokyo Expresses were transport missions run under cover of darkness to avoid Allied air attacks. They were called 'Rat Transports' (鼠輸送) by the IJN.
- ↑ Referring to the First Naval Battle of Guadalcanal.
- ↑ She was sunk while running a Tokyo Express in 1942 when she was attacked by two motor torpedo boats.
- ↑ The Akizuki-class was supposed to have two anti-air fire directors, one at the front and one at the rear, but only the front one was installed due to resource constraints.
- ↑ Referring to the "long 10cm cannon" robots that she has.
- ↑ Although "機動部隊" literally means 'mobile force', the IJN used the term to refer to it's carrier groups.
- ↑ This line is shared with expedition selection, resource collection, instant repair and development.
- ↑ Teruzuki often served as the flagship of DesRon2 during transport missions in 1942. This was because the IJN found that it was harder for light cruisers to evade Allied air attacks.
- ↑ Her name "照月" can mean "Shining Moon".
- ↑ After she was torpedoed, she was left dead in the water and the decision to abandon and scuttle her was made.
- ↑ The torpedoes that struck her ignited the fuel and ammunition aboard. The torpedoes were dumped as part of damage control measures to prevent them from detonating.
- ↑ She had the 2nd shortest service record behind Takanami. Managing to serve only 104 days between completion and sinking.
