KanColle Style

Introduction

KanColle Style (艦これスタイル) is a Japanese information / Guide Book that is released as a mook across Japan as a continuation series of the previous guide book series Life at the Naval Base (鎮守府生活のすゝめ).

Just like its previous counterpart, the book serves as a main guide book for players and fans alike to learn the latest information about the Kantai Collection browser game including detailed tips, strategies and information regarding what players can do within the game. But unlike Life at the Naval Base, the mook further explores features of the KanColle franchise such as the KanColle Arcade, KanColle Kai, merchandise figures, public events and even interviews with Kensuke Tanaka and various seiyuu regarding their experience with Kantai Collection and other matters. In addition, they also give out bonus items for purchasing the books.

Like most mooks, they are usually published for a longer period of time and are more readily available compared to magazines.

KanColle Style 1(艦これスタイル)

This mook covers material regarding the browser game up to 2016 New Year's content. And as the motif of the magazine implies, it mainly covers tips and hints regarding how players can tackle the maps based on their play style. In addition, there is a small sub section which features KanColle Kai and KanColle Arcade as well as three interviews featuring Kensuke Tanaka, Saki Fujita and Iori Nomizu.

KanColle Style 2(艦これスタイル 弐)

This mook covers material regarding the browser game up to Summer Swimsuit content from 2016. And as the motif of the magazine implies, it mainly covers tips and hints regarding how players can tackle the maps based on their play style including some of the newer maps released at the time such as 6-4. In addition, there is a section dedicated to guiding people who are playing KanColle Arcade as well as three interviews featuring Kensuke Tanaka, Uesaka Sumire and Sarah Emi Bridcutt.

KanColle Style 3(艦これスタイル 参)

This mook covers material regarding the browser game up to the Fall 2016 Event and covers the editors' viewpoints and strategies they used to conquer the event. In addition, there is a section dedicated showing off various Kancolle related events and dining locations such as Irako's Canteen / PX, the Naval District Saury Festival in Yokohama and bar table counter information. The mook also features an in depth look at the KanColle Arcade and the Movie. Finally there are interviews featuring Kensuke Tanaka, Yumi Tanibe and Akasaki Chinatsu.
