This is an improved version of the main gun that was equipped as the main armament of a new large destroyer constructed in the tricolor country.
This is a later improved version of the twin enclosed, small shipboard main gun armament fitted to the new high-speed large destroyers, the Mogador-class.
We encourage you to actively use it on French ships such as the Mogador-class!

Mechanics

Main Guns are the main armament used by surface ships. Their main stats are the "firepower" and "accuracy" . They are notably required to trigger all Artillery Spotting attacks as well as some Night Cut-Ins, notably the "Double Attack" (DA).

Most main guns come with "Hidden Fit Bonuses/Penalties", especially larger ones.
Small Caliber Main Guns bring some accuracy bonus against PT boats.

Behave as Medium Caliber Main Guns for Hidden Fit Bonuses.
