- ↑ Technically true since the preceeding Kawachi-class were classified as 'dreadnoughts' and not 'super dreadnoughts' by the IJN.
- ↑ She was sunk at the Battle of Surigao Strait before she could reach Leyte Gulf.
- ↑ She's saying her feelings towards you are still budding. Since '青い' can mean both 'blue' and 'unripened'.
- ↑ She was supposedly sunk by a magazine detonation.
- ↑ Turrets No.3 & 4 were mounted amidships along the ship's centerline, they had restricted firing arcs, & forced the boiler rooms to be placed between them non-ideally & with limited space. This required extra insulation & air conditioning in the magazines of turrets No.3 & 4 to protect them from the boiler rooms' heat.
- ↑ She had two modernisations done.
- ↑ Shared with Supply before Kai.
- ↑ Yamashiro likewise had two modernisations done.
- ↑ This line is shared with expedition selection, resource collection, instant repair and development.
- ↑ The Ise-class were built as an improved version of the Fusou-class and improved upon many of the flaws that became apparent with the Fusou-class.
- ↑ Referring to the Sourthern Force under Vice Admirals Nishimura Shoji and Shima Kiyohide at the Battle of Leyte Gulf.
- ↑ Because of the two turrets admidships, design sacrifices had to be made with the engine rooms and armour admidships.
- ↑ Shortly before sinking, a torpedo caused an oil fire.
- ↑ After she was torpedoed by the USS Melvin at Surigao, she fell out of formation and eventually sunk.

Trivia
- Fusou is a classical title for Japan.
- 扶桑 (fusou) sounds similar to 不幸 (fukou) or 'misfortune', & 不相応 (fusouou) or 'misplaced' or 'unsuitable'.
- Japan's first Super-Dreadnought and the first to be completely indigenous as opposed to the, at the time, British-designed Kongou-class battlecruisers.
- Super dreadnoughts are an era within the development of battleships.
- Finished in 1915. As time passed, her design showed numerous faults that outweighed her merits despite initially high expectations, especially given her name, and led to endless modifications.
- Due to poor maintenance, sailors considered assignment to the Fusou-class to be the worst sea postings possible.
- The remodeling into an Aviation Battleship stems from a plan for the Fusou-class after the carrier losses during the Battle of Midway. However, it was performed on the Ise-class instead.
- Sunk, by possibly USS Melvin, during night battle in the Battle of Surigao Strait, October 25th, 1944.
- There is a conflict in the accounts of her sinking:
- Torpedoes caused progressive flooding, upending and capsizing her within forty minutes.
- Torpedoes struck a magazine, causing a spectacular explosion and splitting in two with each half remaining afloat and burning for an hour. This seems to be increasingly discounted.
- There is a conflict in the accounts of her sinking:
- As to her Wedding and MVP lines, using six twin turrets rather than four triple turrets required a longer ship, 60% of the ship's length, & thus, increased armor. As turrets No.3 & 4 were not superfiring, they further increased the length.
- As turrets No.3 & 4 were mounted amidships along the ship's centerline, they had restricted firing arcs, & forced the boiler rooms to be placed between them non-ideally & with limited space. This required extra insulation & air conditioning in the magazines of turrets No.3 & 4 to protect them from the boiler rooms' heat.
- Half the turrets were classified as prone to explode when hit.
- Firing turrets No.3 & 4 together would create blast waves that affected the entire ship.
- She is required by quests A17 and A42 and the Nishimura Fleet and New Nishimura Fleet quests (A22, A44, B14, and B33), and an option for A43.
