本部隊は、同機を装備して内地で錬成を重ねた六〇一空による精鋭艦攻機隊です。新生空母機動部隊の打撃力を担います。
The new Tenzan was developed as a successor to the obsolete Type 97 torpedo bomber. This is the aircraft of choice of the elite 601st Air Group currently in training at the mainland. This aircraft is intended to form the backbone of strike groups of the newly formed Carrier Task Force.
