List of Armored Aircraft Carriers by upgraded maximum stats/New
Armored Aircraft Carriers are aircraft carriers that adopted the armored flight decks and armor belt. There are only two carriers in this class, Taihou and the supercarrier Shinano. Shinano is currently not available.
- Unlike Standard Aircraft Carriers, the Armored Aircraft Carriers can still launch their aircrafts when sustaining moderate damage (中破).
- Taihou has the highest firepower and armor stat among aircraft carriers.
- Taihou has the highest anti-air stat among aircraft carriers.
- Taihou has the highest resource consumption and repair cost among aircraft carriers.
- Taihou come with a Type 62 Zero Fighter-bomber as her default equipment.
- Taihou kai come with a Reppuu (Strong Gale), Ryuusei (Shooting Star), and an uncraftable 10cm Twin High-angle Mount (Improved).
