- A "relatively early model" heavy cruiser with active performance in the night portion of her first battle will get her second remodel.
- The Heavy Cruiser to receive its Kai Ni served as part of the 6th Cruiser Division and played an important role in night battles at the Solomon Islands.
- Sunk after a night battle while returning to base. (Likely Kako)
- Over the course of the Summer, 1 Heavy Cruiser, 1 Light Cruiser, and 2 Standard Aircraft Carriers are expected to receive their second remodels.
- A new BGM fitting for the rainy season will become available.
