As of current, known details about the event mentioned in the [[KanColle Naval Review]] and [[Kensuke Tanaka Interview: Comptiq Magazine November 2017|Kensuke Tanaka's interview in November's Comptiq]] have noted that the event will feature the Akizuki-class Destroyers [[Suzutsuki]] and serveral other "Smaller ships" that will be appearing in this event.
Unlike most KanColle events, this event will be themed around the Battle of the Leyte Gulf and due to the scale of the historical Naval Battle, this event will be split into two separate events. The Fall Event will be Part 1 while the [[Winter 2018 Event]] as Part 2 of the event.
